This new OWEN workshop aims to help  you consider whether self employment might be an option for you. It’s taking place on Tuesday 20 October at Brough Business Centre, Skillings Lane, Brough.

The workshop looks at what’s involved with starting a business. Would it be right for you? Would the business be successful? What are the legalities and practicalities?
It looks at you and whether you have what it takes to be successfully self employed? We take a look at the various skills and personal attributes you would need.

The workshop also covers business planning including writing a business plan. After you’ve taken an introductory look at the content and considered how to make preparations for writing one, you will go on to look at market research and financial forecasting.
