Welcome to OWEN
The OWEN (Older Workers Employment Network) is a project funded by East Riding of Yorkshire Council and Yorkshire Forward through the MORE employability programme. The project aims to
support mature people (45+) who are seeking employment in the Humber sub-region. In 2008, OWEN recruited 850 beneficiaries to the programme. Support is available in the form of workshops including CV writing, interview skills,
how to conduct job searches, completing job applications, customer service skills, confidence building, health and safety and communication skills.
