Welcome to OWEN
The OWEN (Older Workers Employment Network) project aims to support mature people (45+) who are looking for employment in East Yorkshire and North East Lincolnshire. Funded in East Yorkshire by East Riding of Yorkshire Council, and in North East Lincolnshire by the Change programme, OWEN supported over 600 people during 2009. Support is available in the form of workshops including CV writing, interview skills, how to conduct job searches, completing job applications, customer service skills, confidence building, health and safety and communication skills.
